The Elastic Orchestra: Arrangements So Flexible, They’re Elastic!

19 orchestra pieces uniquely formatted to:

♫ Sound Complete with practically any instrumentation, even with Violins only

♫ Provide 3 distinct levels of parts for each instrument, Easy, Regular and Virtuoso

♫ Allow your orchestras to Learn in Unison, but Perform in Counterpoint!

Bridge the Learning Gap between Unison Material and Traditional Arrangements

Students study the musical Building Blocks of each piece (Melody, Bass Line, etc.) in unison, and then put together these rich contrapuntal arrangements with absolute ease.

Sound Complete with Nearly Any Instrumentation

All 14 Concert Band pieces in the Arrangement Collection will sound complete with no low instruments and/or no trumpets. All 19 pieces in the Elastic Orchestra will sound complete with Violins only, by utilizing the optional Violin III book.

Accommodate Multiple Ability Levels Simultaneously

The Arrangement Collection features optional Upper Register and Virtuoso books. The Elastic Orchestra includes optional Virtuoso parts in the back of every book, as well as optional Easy books for Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass.

Facilitate Full Classroom Participation at All Times

Because each Building Block is studied in unison, beginners learn from advanced students, no one ever has to wait around while another section of the group is rehearsing, and wrong notes are easy to hear and correct immediately.

Arrangement Collection Review

“I just wanted to tell you how much my students and I enjoy the Arrangement Collection. My 6th grade students feel so special that they are playing – as they say – ‘real songs’. Very cool to see the smiles on their faces. Thank you!”

Darrell Boston, Loretto High School Band, Loretto, TN

Elastic Orchestra Review

“My kids are really loving the Elastic Orchestra tunes! I have quite a wide range of skill levels in my string program and the “elasticity” of your arrangements really help my beginners succeed while simultaneously challenging the more advanced players. Keep up the great work!”

James Hamontree, Band & Orchestra Teacher, DysART Academy at West Point, Surprise, AZ

Workbook Review

“I have been so happy with the First Semester Workbooks. They seem to move along on an intuitive level with the beginning students, giving them just enough of what they need and can handle at a time. The best part is that my beginning band students love to work in them! They feel proud of themselves and that is a joy to watch.”
